Alpina Capital completes acquisition of Falcon Fund Management
Luxembourg supervisory authority CSSF approves transaction
Zug, 20 December 2020. Alpina Capital Ltd is to acquire Falcon Fund Management (Luxembourg) S.A. Following approval from the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) in Luxembourg, the transaction will now be concluded. Falcon Fund Management’s business will be completely taken over and will in future trade under the name Alpina Fund Management S.A.
Alpina Capital Ltd is a Swiss company that specializes in managing investment portfolios and is headquartered in Zug. At the end of July 2020, Alpina Capital Ltd and Falcon Private Ltd reached an agreement on the sale of Falcon Fund Management (Luxembourg) S.A., an investment boutique domiciled in Luxembourg.
Following approval from the Luxembourg regulatory authority CSSF, this transaction will now be concluded. Alpina Capital will take over Falcon Fund Management’s business and employees. The entity will retain its headquarters in Luxembourg and will in future trade in the market as Alpina Fund Management S.A.
